Cathode is Steve Jefferis from Newcastle upon Tyne. Cathode released records on Expanding Records, Static Caravan and Distraction Records, and this is the first new recording from Cathode since their remix of Moira Stewart in 2010. Steve is also one half of Warm Digits.

Chris Tate has worked for over two decades in many bands and collaborations, including d_rradio, Salisman, One Key Magic and Sewell & The Gong. His solo work as Score began in 2014 and he has since released albums and remixes on labels such as Cruel Nature, Symbolic Interaction and One Little Independent.

ako (aka Simeon Soden) infuses influences from obscure elements of electronic and dance music (most recently vaporwave) with experimental / IDM sensibilities. He has had international record label releases in various physical and digital formats on The Tidal Charm (Netherlands), Halcyon Tapes (USA), Sunset grid (Australia), HOT-Q, SPRIX (USA), Virtual Soundsystem (Mexico), N-aut, Nothing but.., and others. He co-founded the Kaneda Records imprint as well as founding Linebreak Records (the world’s first cryptocurrency/blockchain record label) and recently founding Green Blade Tapes, a tape label dedicated to exploring ecological sustainability in music production and distribution. He also releases music and performs in the collaborative project ‘Badger’.
